Why We Made It This Simple
Most prediction sites over-complicate things. They ask you to register, download an app, subscribe monthly, verify your email, and then deliver the slip through some portal you have to log into. By the time you've jumped through the hoops, the first match has kicked off.
We made Bettipster deliberately simple. Here's why, and how the whole thing works under the hood.
The three-step flow, end to end
Every page with a payment slip works identically:
- You enter your M-Pesa number. We use this for two things: sending the M-Pesa prompt, and delivering the slip. Nothing else.
- You pay KSh 99 via M-Pesa STK Push. A prompt appears on your phone. You enter your PIN. Payment confirms in seconds.
- Your slip is delivered automatically by SMS. As soon as Safaricom confirms the payment, our system queues the SMS. It arrives on your phone typically within 30 seconds.
There is no step 4. No account confirmation, no email verification, no follow-up.
Why no registration or app?
Registration and apps exist to solve problems we don't have:
- Registration is typically used to lock subscribers in, track usage, or manage recurring billing. We don't need any of those — you pay once, you get the slip. Nothing to log into.
- Apps add download friction and require ongoing maintenance. An SMS is already the fastest way to get information to a phone — why complicate it?
- Email delivery requires opening an inbox, finding the right message, and clicking a link. SMS arrives silently and is readable in 2 seconds.
We chose SMS because it's the lowest-friction delivery channel that works on every phone. No smartphone required. No internet required after purchase. Just a phone that receives texts.
What happens after you click "pay"
For those curious about the technical flow (some users ask):
- Our system sends a request to Safaricom's M-Pesa API with your phone number and the KSh 99 amount.
- Safaricom pushes an STK prompt to your phone.
- You enter your PIN. Safaricom confirms the payment to us.
- Our system fetches the current week's slip from the database.
- The slip is formatted into SMS format and sent via the SMS gateway.
- Your phone receives the SMS — usually within 30 seconds of payment confirmation.
The whole process is automated. No human is involved in the delivery.
What if something goes wrong?
A few things can occasionally fail:
- M-Pesa prompt doesn't arrive. Usually a network issue on your side or Safaricom's side. Wait 2 minutes. If nothing arrives, try again.
- Payment confirms but no SMS. Rare, but possible. Message us on WhatsApp with your M-Pesa transaction code and we'll resend within 15 minutes.
- You paid twice by accident. Message us with both transaction codes. We refund the duplicate within 24 hours.
Full details in the payment help guide.
What you're actually paying for
The KSh 99 covers:
- The full slip. All 17 games (or 13 on Midweek) with bankers, doubles, and confidence levels.
- The SMS delivery. Our SMS gateway costs us money per message.
- The M-Pesa transaction. Safaricom charges a small fee per transaction.
- The analysis. The three-layer model that produces the slip, and the analyst review that signs it off.
We price at KSh 99 because it keeps the barrier low. If you don't like the slip, you're out KSh 99 — not KSh 500 or a monthly subscription. That keeps the incentive honest: we need you to come back next week, which means we need this week's analysis to be worth paying for.
What we don't do
- We don't require registration. Your phone number is the only thing we need.
- We don't auto-renew. Every slip is a one-time payment.
- We don't sell your number. We use it only to deliver the slip. See our Privacy Policy.
- We don't promise specific outcomes. The slip is analysis, not a guarantee. See responsible gambling.
